Facebook has announced some updates to Messenger that make it easier to find the exact emoji you want when reacting to a message… It offers a search bar for emoji, but not only…
an emoji search bar
After launching Soundmojis, Facebook added a new feature for faster access to emoji in Messenger chat. The social network offers a new emoji search bar at the top of the emoji selection panel, which will allow users to quickly find the emoji they want to add by entering a search term.
Messenger has added a new emoji search bar to make it easier for you to search for the most appropriate response to your conversation. To find the search bar:
- When you long-press a chat in Messenger, go to the reaction switcher
- Press the “+” sign;
It saves you time when you are in a hurry and don’t have time to scroll through a long selection of emoji.
Instead of browsing through small images on the screen, you can enter a keyword search and find what you want even faster.
A new section “Recent Reactions”
Facebook has also added a new ‘Recent Reactions’ section to the Facebook reactions picker, for emoji you use regularly but don’t list your most important reactions.
Facebook added its customizable emoji quick reaction bar, which highlights the top five emoji reactions you’ve selected from Feed, last September. The new list will complement it with other reactions used regularly.
A New “Space Jam” Background
If you’re a fan of “Space Jam” and the old fashioned, Facebook is offering to try out their brand new Space Jam chat theme, available in Messenger and Instagram.
In addition to helping you save time during your conversations on Messenger, these new features are new ways to improve your discussions with your customers, so you can get closer to them.
