With the new stream, it will be almost full screen while playing the video and scrolling down. Thus the content takes up space at the top and in the comment section to display more and more videos. The description, as well as buttons that allow you to bookmark or comment on the video, appear at the bottom. For the Instagram logo and other top buttons, they appear at the top.
Instagram has already experimented with full screen on the feed. Last month, the company actually tested a new design to highlight videos, although the top and bottom of the screen were still white bars. It’s also left the main navigation bar at the bottom, but there are plans to test a shortcut for creating a message already.
