How to use this AI based chatbot?

A few weeks back, during its developer conference, Google unveiled Bard, its generative artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot. This new chatbot is the company’s answer to compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Microsoft’s GPT4-powered Bing. But what does it offer and how to use it?

Google Bard is available in over 180 countries!

When OpenAI’s artificial intelligence chatbot, ChatGPT, was launched in late 2022, it quickly gained a massive following, with one million users in less than a week after its release! This isn’t surprising, though, given the usefulness of chatbots for a wide variety of tasks, including digital marketing.

To meet the high demand, many companies have started this mad race against Artificial Intelligence. For example, Google Bard Chat is a competitor to GPT and Bing’s AI chat feature. As of May 10, 2023, Google Bard no longer has a waiting list and is available in over 180 countries worldwide.

Like other AI chatbots, Bard is designed to be conversational. Basically, users interact with it by typing a request into a text box, and then the AI — in this case, the Google Bard — will generate a response using a conversational tone.

For example, if you ask Bard “Why get Internet Marketing Certification for a career path,” he will look at the information he trained with and come back with answers to your questions. But be careful to double-check the information provided by Bard.

For now, Google Bard’s prompts are strictly text-based, but that’s about to change very quickly due to the PaLM 2’s multimodal capabilities. Analyze it. Eventually, the chatbot will be able to generate brand new AI images through Adobe Firefly integration.

How is Bard different from other AI-powered chatbots?

At the same time that new artificial intelligence (AI) tools were making headlines with their innovative ideas and fascinating capabilities, Google’s own creation attracted attention for entirely different reasons.

Google Bard is supposed to be an AI support chatbot. It is a generative AI tool that can generate text to perform multiple tasks: writing cover letters, computer code, answering questions, and detailed translation. Like ChatGPT, Bard uses AI to provide human-like conversational responses to user requests.

However, Bard’s performance was found to be poor on more than one occasion. From its disappointing debut to its official launch, it struggled to get the chatbot to deliver accurate information to users or follow conversations without getting lost.

But there are other big, interesting differences between Bard and other AI-powered chatbots. Bard can access Google’s search engine, while ChatGPT has no internet access and was trained only on information available until 2021.

So Google Bard competes more directly with Bing Chat, Microsoft’s new AI-powered Bing search engine, which uses GPT-4.

No need to join a waiting list to try out Google’s AI chatbot, Bard! You can use it in any browser like Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox. However, you will need to sign in with a Google Account to access it.

  • Go to in a browser;
  • choose login;
