These updates were announced via a WhatsApp blog, with reactions to messages now available live announced.
WhatsApp manager Will Cathcart confirmed the reactions to the post in a video on Twitter and on the app’s blog. If you’re not yet familiar with the messaging interface of Facebook Messenger or Instagram, follow these simple steps to use emoji reactions on WhatsApp:
- Open WhatsApp then long press on the message you want to respond to;

File share up to 2 GB
